NUAFTL - NuSTAR As-Flown Timeline

HEASARC
Archive

Overview

The NUAFTL database table records the As-Flown Timeline for the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) hard X-ray observatory. NuSTAR observes the sky in the high energy X-ray (3 - 79 keV) region of the electromagnetic spectrum using focusing optics. The as-flown timeline provides a summary of what NuSTAR has observed and is updated automatically when each observation is completed.

Bulletin

The NUAFTL database table was last updated on 30 September 2014.

Parameters

ObsID
This is a unique 11-digit identifier for each NuSTAR observation sequence.

Name
This is the designation of the target which was observed by NuSTAR, as provided by the NuSTAR Team.

RA
The Right Ascension of the NuSTAR pointing in the selected equinox. This is given in J2000 Equatorial coordinates with varying precision in the NuSTAR timeline.

Dec
The Declination of the NuSTAR pointing in the selected equinox. This is given in J2000 Equatorial coordinates with varying precision in the NuSTAR timeline.

LII
The Galactic Longitude of the NuSTAR pointing. This parameter is derived from the Equatorial position in the NuSTAR timeline.

BII
The Galactic Latitude of the NuSTAR pointing. This parameter is derived from the Equatorial position in the NuSTAR timeline.

Time
The start time (UTC) of the NuSTAR pointing on target.

End_Time
The stop time (UTC) of the NuSTAR pointing on target.
