WFCPOINT - ROSAT Archival WFC EUV Data |
HEASARC Archive |
For each observation listed in WFCPOINT, the target name, celestial co-ordinates, sequence number, PI name, and proposal title are given. The date of the observation, date that the data were distributed, and the date that the data will be released to the public are also given. The public release date is nominally 1 year and 14 days after the distribution date; however, because of some processing problems with a few datasets, the actual release date will be delayed from the given date.
Name
The name of the target.
Alt_Name
The alternate name(s) of the target, if any were given in the ROSAT AO
proposal.
ROR
The ROSAT observation request (ROR) sequence number.
_Public
Are data public? (YE or NO)
RA
The Right Ascension of the target.
Dec
The Declination of the target.
LII
The galactic longitude of the target, calculated from Right Ascension in
J2000 coordinates.
BII
The galactic latitude of the target, calculated from the Declination in J2000
coordinates.
PI
The name of the Principal Investigator for the observation.
Title
The title of the ROSAT AO proposal associated with this observation.
Date
The date the observation began. Dates and times are stored in BROWSE
databases in shf key format, which is seconds since January 1st, 1980.
Dist_Date
The date (and time, if given) that the data were distributed to the Principal
Investigator. Dates and times are stored in BROWSE databases in shf key
format, which is seconds since January 1st, 1980.
Release_Date
The date (and time, if given) that the data will become public. Dates and
times are stored in BROWSE databases in shf key format, which is seconds
since January 1st, 1980.
