OBSERVATION OF R CRA STAR FORMING REGION

ABSTRACT

In the R CrA star forming region, the protostar R1 had been the most powerful X-ray and IR source. But, recently R1 reduced its IR flux, and couldn't be detected in the IR observation. We observed this region twice with the ASCA AO2 and AO4 phase, and also found that R1 have reduced its X-ray flux. We now can't determine the reason of this phenominon because of the lacking of data, but, It may reveal the dynamic change of the environment of the protostar R1. To confirm this, We must continue the observation of this region. Thus, We propose to monitor the R CrA star forming region again.
