MINIMUM CLUSTER NGC4756 GROUP


ABSTRACT

The origin of hot gas and Fe in the cluster of galaxies in one of the most fundamental problem in X ray astronomy. Arnaud et al. (1992) fund good correlation between total luminosity of early type galaxies and gas mass or iron mass. This correlation strongly suggest the galactic wind origin of ICM. Our goal in this proposal is test this model more qualitatively. We are going to observe minimum cluster in which there is only on galaxy. And this galaxy have to a passively evolved early type. In such ideal object, we can accurately estimate total mass of gas and iron which has been ejected steady Type Ia SN and stellar mass loss and compare to observed result. NGC4756 is the best object to satisfy these condition.
