X-RAY OBSERVATION OF G352.7-0.1

ABSTRACT

We discovered an X-ray emission from supernova remnant G352.7-0.1, during the galactic plane survey program performed in the AO-4 period for the first time. The diameter was about 6-8 arcmin. The X-ray spectrum shows that emission lines from Si, S, and Ar are very strong. The GIS spectrum and image imply that there is a point-like source at the center. However, since the exposure time during the survey program was short, we could not obtain statistically good data. Thus, we propose a follow-up observation of this supernova remnant.
