An XView window prompts the user for the name of the 2 input files, the type of operation to be performed, the type of maps to generate and parameters for the output map(s).
Once the input phase is completed, a Fortran program is executed with the user selections. The user must then wait (usually of the order of a few minutes) for the program completion.
The program notifies the user of completion with the message 'The program listing is in addmap.list'. This file then has all the relevant information about the run and should be read by the user.
