Introduction

PointExpose is a set of programs that calculate the sensitive area and livetimes for a given pointing at all times in a specified time range. The program is in a directory PointExpose, with the executables in PointExpose/pte, and the source in other subdirectories. It is intended to be accessed through pte [section 2], producing the output file pte.out.name , which can then be used with other programs [section 6]. pte runs first the input panel sensin [section 3] and then the calculational program pointexp [section 5], which pass information via a namelist in pte.nml.name [section 4].
