\fbox{Summary of File}

This dataset is a FITS version of the results of the ray-tracing simulations of the Nagoya group, supplied to the HEASARC in ASCII format by the NASA/GSFC ASCA GOF on 1993 May 11.

Follows is an abridged version of the accompanying text file:

Asuka XRT response functions Ver.0.0

These response functions were made by raytracing simulations which was accordance with results of only on ground calibration. But note that these have about 10% error. Effective area was calculated from photons integrated in 12mm dia. circle at focal plan., 0.1keV to 10.0keV (0.1keV interval), and for zenith angle from 0' to 15'(1' interval).

The original ASCII datasets are from:
where p000 and p045 represent phase angle of off-axis sources. The phase angle is measured from the boundary of quadrants.
\fbox{Delivered to CALDB by:}

Eric Gotthelf (NASA/GSFC ASCA GOF) as ASCII files, reformatted to OGIP standard by Ron Zellar.

\fbox{File Format}

HDUDOC/VERS = CAL/GEN/92-019/1.0.0
(see CAL/GEN/92-019, available on-line as postscript and html versions).

\fbox{Input Datasets, Assumptions, {\it etc}}
