ASCA spectra of EX Hydra

Emission lines of Ne, Mg, Si, S, Ar, and Fe have been detected in this ASCA SIS spectrum of the magnetic cataclysmic variable EX Hya. The intensity ratios of these lines prove that X-ray emitting plasma of a range of temperatures (<1 keV to >5 keV) co-exist in this system.
