How can I find out what's available in the GSFC ROSAT archive?

There are three ways of locating available data files.

via W3BROWSE
Download an ASCII list of public data via anonymous FTP:
download the appropriate file (below):
```
    % ftp legacy.gsfc.nasa.gov      
    user: anonymous
    password: you@     
    ftp> cd rosat/doc/archive  
    ftp> dir
    ftp> ascii
    ftp> get rosarchive_<yymmdd>.pos (sorted by RA, Dec)
    ftp> get rosarchive_<yymmdd>.seq (sorted by sequence no.)
    ftp> quit
    
```
These files are updated as new data become available.
