How accurate are the coordinates extracted in PROS?

PROS had a problem with coordinates. If the image was blocked, the coordinates generated by cursor read-back appeared to be accurate to about 5 arc seconds or so. If a subsection of the image was used, the coordinates were wrong by 10s of arc minutes. This problem was fixed in the IRAF 2.10/PROS 2 version.
