ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

Are there any problems in doing a spectral fit?

(8/12/92)

One problem that was encountered with a guest observer, and not appreciated, is that the spectral fitting models requiring temperatures (blackbody, raymond) are not defined below 0.013keV. This particular guest observer had a very soft source, with the result that the fitting routines aborted with slightly cryptic error messages (no message so clear as to say models not defined below xxxxkeV).
