Mirror Scattering

      

Small-scale irregularities in the mirror surface give rise to small-angle scattering, the level of which is energy dependent. The scattering level and its energy dependence (i.e., the radial point response function) was measured in the diverging beam of the PANTER facility (see Sect. 2.4).
