XSTAR has changed dramatically since Version 1. Many of the significant changes in XSTAR are due to its integration into the FTOOLS suite of analysis programs. This has required a dramatic reworking of the program's I/O structure. In addition, the treatment of atomic data has been changed so that all atomic constants are stored in a fits file and read in at run time.
