A multiwavelength study of Black Hole X-ray Binary GRS 1915+105, including Stephen Eikenberry, Craig Markwardt and Jean Swank, has uncovered evidence that up to 100 trillion tons of mass from the accretion disk is flung off in the jets at nearly the speed of light, approximately every 30 minutes.
