RXTE Guest Observer Facility - RXTE Frequently Asked Questions

The following is the observing program for RXTE AO-3. This list contains the targets recommended by the Stage-1 review panels and will be made official after the Stage-2 budget review. Recall that multiple pointings at a particular target are permitted.

The various columns are:

  1. Prop Number: number assigned by RXTE GOF
  2. PI: Principal Investigator's last name
  3. Target Number: as listed on proposal forms
  4. Target Name: as listed on proposal forms
  5. Total ObsTime: total observing time approved in ksec
  6. TOO?: is the target a TOO?
  7. RA, Dec: J2000, in hours (degrees), minutes, and seconds
  8. Number Constraints: total number of constraints on target
