ASCA Weekly

Dear ASCA users,

Please find below the ASCA short-term observation schedule for the period
of February 1 to 13. By this short-term schedule, we complete the cycle-7
(AO-7) observations and move to the AO-8 Long Observation Program
after February 13. So far the instruments on board ASCA are all healthy
and we expect that we can continue regular observations for more than
a year, although the ASCA orbit is declining gradually. Astro-E final
operation test at the Kagoshima launching station is now in progress
for the currently scheduled launch on February 8.
