Our apologies if you have received this message more than once.

RXTE Cycle 7 Peer Review Request
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

On behalf of NASA Headquarters, we are attempting to identify
potential reviewers for the RXTE Cycle 7 Peer Review. A review by
competent peers benefits the entire science community by ensuring that
the observations carried out by RXTE and the science return are of the
highest quality. We'd like to appeal to you to support this system and
contribute to the common good by serving as a Peer Reviewer this
November. If you'd be willing to help out, please drop us a line.

_________________________________________________________________________
Review date, location:

November 11-13, 2001, probably at the BWI Marriott, close to Baltimore
and not far from NASA/GSFC.

Reviewers would need to arrive on the evening of November 11th, and
would be free to fly out on the evening of the 13th.

We would be grateful if you could reply to arida@milkyway.gsfc.nasa.gov
or alan@osiris.gsfc.nasa.gov by the end of August, letting us know:

a) your mailing address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address;
b) preference for panel (general galactic or extragalactic) and
topics of expertise (most important for new volunteers).

Because of possible institutional and scientific constraints on our
choice of reviewers, not all volunteers will necessarily be selected.
All reviewers must have a Ph.D. by the review date.

We apologize if you receive this message more than once. Also, feel
free to call either of us at the numbers below if you have any
questions.

Warm regards,

     Alan Smale & Michael Arida
