GSFC XMM GOF Status Report #020: US GO Budget Proposals

NASA/GSFC XMM GOF
XMM Status Report #020
22 December 1999

US GO Budget Proposals

Due to the season, conflict with the ASTRO-E budget
submission process, the January AAS meeting, and ongoing
discussions concerning the budget- proposal format, the
NASA XMM budget submission process for US GOs will be
delayed by roughly a month. We now expect to release the
call for budgets in mid to late January with a due date
of late February to early March.

This is version 1 of this letter, sent out to the xmmnews
e-mail list. A second version is going out to a list of
US PIs and Co-Is of accepted proposals as a check that no
individuals have been missed from the published GO list.
If you are a US PI, or the Co-I of an accepted XMM
proposal with either US or foreign PI and do not receive
the second copy, please contact the US XMM GOF at
xxxhelp@athena.gsfc.nasa.gov (US and foreign refers to
the primary institutional affiliation of the PI). All
further information concerning the NASA XMM budget
process will go out on the second list. If your
affiliation has changed since the original proposals were
submitted, please notify us as well. This includes both
GOs who are now primarily affiliated with US institutions
and those who are no longer primarily affiliated with US
institutions.

Cheers,
