ASCA weekly

Dear ASCA users,

We have allocated a 20-ksec TOO observation of GRS 1737-31, a
new X-ray transient near Galactic center which is suspected to be a
black hole candidate with its X-ray properties similar with Cyg X-1, on
April 2 6:30 - 22:40 (UT). The observations of "Gal. Ridge 9" pointings
#1 and #2 (Pri-A, PI; S. Yamauchi) once planned to be observed at the
intervals will be installed in the next window in fall.
