ASCA weekly

Dear ASCA users,

Please find the ASCA observation schedule for the period of June 21
to July 3. The SIS low energy calibration observation with 3C273 is
scheduled on June 24, 6:00 (UT) to June 26 9:40 in coordination with
BeppoSAX and RXTE.

The Planet-B (ISAS Mars mission) satellite is scheduled to be launched
on July 3 from Kagoshima Space Center. Due to the launching operation
of the Planet-B, ASCA operation in late June to early July may be
significantly disturbed. We will attempt to continue observation as
stationally as possible.

ISAS office telephones were changed to the direct dial-in system from
May 18. Below the schedule, several key numbers for ASCA operation team
are listed.
