more final meeting arrangements

Dear All,

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday. I have one clarification to
add to the driving directions on the NRL website. For people driving from
points north along I-295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway), where this ends
and splits into two, do not, repeat not, take the right hand fork labeled
"Washington". Take the left hand fork labeled "Richmond, Alexandria". Taking
the "Washington" fork will put you on Route 50, New York Avenue, and into
the black hole of downtown DC, into which visitors to our group at NRL have
been known to disappear for hours. The "Richmond, Alexandria" exit puts you
onto Kenilworth Avenue, that eventually becomes I-295 again. Exit 1 takes
you to NRL.

Upon arrival everyone must park and go to building 72 to pick up a badge,
before driving into NRL. I will be meeting Jacco, Carles, and Martin there
around 9.00 - 9.15 am (if not before) since they will need to be escorted
into the lab.

Below is a tentative schedule, which will most likely change several times
more before the meeting. There has been some concern that with the data
going public immediately, we should be ready to work on them as soon as they
are available to avoid being scooped, and so have some idea of the first
papers pretty soon. So Thursday's agenda, following some introductory talks
to put everyone in the picture, is more biased towards "deliverables" (in
project-management-speak!). I hope that we will not feel so constrained on
Friday and can devote time to more open-ended discussions. We will go for
lunch to the NRL cafeteria, where a room should be reserved for us.

There is plenty of time available for anyone else who would like to give a
short talk, stake a claim to a piece of data analysis, etc, to do so. Just
let Una and/or Martin L know, either beforehand or during the meeting
itself.
