point source
Ok, I've tried sending this message twice before with the image attached
but it didn't get through. This time I will follow Pat's lead and put the
gif on the web at

Hello everybody,
As a follow up to the discussion about the elongation of the point source
seen in Pat's 40ks image, I went back to the 2 previous epochs and the Feb
50ks run earlier this year that was set up to match the first 2 epochs.
I have attached a screen capture of ds9 comparing the point source from
the three epochs. The brightness is on a log scale. I see no significant
N-S elongation (N is up). If anything, the slight elongation seen (NE-SW)
is in the direction of readout.
