Multiwavelength Campaign for blazar 3C454.3 - Additional Spitzer Observations

Dear Multiwavelength Colleagues,

Ann Wehrle has asked me to forward the following information to you regarding our observing campaign of 3C454.3:

On Friday I wrote a Spitzer Director's Discretionary Time proposal for 3C454.3 to follow the flare; it was acccepted on Tuesday and scheduled for next week. The dates and UT times, including the previously scheduled observation on July 28th, are listed below. Each observation will last about 40 minutes. My co-investigator is Dr. Patrick Ogle of the IRS team at the Spitzer Science Center who is also acting as contact person for the Spitzer experiment for the next week while I am travelling. The data are likely to be delivered from the pipeline in four to six weeks. It would be very useful if radio, optical and near infrared observations were obtained every night during the Spitzer observing period of July 28-August 6.

regards,
Ann Wehrle
