As announced in a previous issue of the XMM-Newsletter, the XMM-Newton
Science  Operations   Centre  is  organising   a  major  astrophysical
symposium  from Monday  16th to  Thursday  19th June  2014 in  Dublin,
Ireland:

                          - ACCOMMODATION -

Trinity  College  hosts   on-site  accommodation  with  breakfast  and
wireless internet  included.  For booking, a promotional  code will be
needed   that  will  be   given  in   the  invoice   after  completing
registration.

                            - LUNCHES -

Lunches will be served in the historic dining hall of Trinity College.
The costs are included in the registration fee. If participants need a
special diet, they should let us know when registering.


                          - SOCIAL EVENTS -

* Welcome drink  during registration: Sunday 15th  June 18:00-20:00 at
  Trinity College,  included in the registration  fee.  Attendance can
  be booked during on-line registration.

* Conference Dinner: Tuesday 17th June, 19:30-22:30.
  Venue: Celtic Night at the Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge.
  Dinner tickets are  not included in the registration  fee and can be
  purchased for EUR 52 during registration.

* Tickets for a self guided visit  to the Long Hall in Trinity College
  with historic  library and  book of Kells  can be purchased  for EUR
  6.50 during registration.

                         - CONTRIBUTIONS -

Proposals for oral  and poster presentations will be  evaluated on the
basis of submitted abstracts with a maximum of 200 words.

Abstracts have to  be submitted on-line by Friday  28th February using
the submission form available at

               http://xrayuniverse.esa.int/#submission

Authors will be notified of  the decision of the Scientific Organising
Committee mid  April, before the  early registration deadline.  At the
same  time, authors  whose abstracts  have been  accepted for  oral or
poster  presentation  will  receive  instructions and  information  on
presentation facilities available at the conference venue.

Accepted abstracts will be included in an abstract booklet. It will be
made  available  in electronic  form  only  before  the start  of  the
conference.

After the  meeting, the electronic  versions of presentations  will be
collected for  publication in an  archive web page,  provided author's
approval  is given.  Astrophysics Data  System (ADS)  entries  will be
created, listing each presentation as an unrefereed publication.

                      - REGISTRATION FORM -

Registration Fee:

EUR 200: Reduced fee for students providing a copy of their student ID
         and a letter from the  supervisor confirming that a thesis is
         being  prepared.  Students  need to  register by  Monday 28th
         April  and  will  need  to  upload  these  two  documents  of
         eligibility.

EUR 370: Early fee, until Monday 28th April

EUR 460: Late fee, after Monday 28th April

The fee includes all lunches  and coffee breaks, access to all sessions,
and the Welcome drink on Sunday 15th June.

                           - GRANTS -

Unfortunately, we have not been able to organise the funds required to
offer the financial support anticipated in the first announcement.
