OBSLOG - Master Observation Log Catalog

Overview

The OBSLOG database is a master catalog containing selected parameters from several observation logs. OBSLOG was created by copying all entries of some common parameters from the HEASARC databases which contain the following observation logs:
 * A2POINT - The HEAO 1 A-2 Pointing Catalog

 * BBXRT - BBXRT Observation Log and Data Products

 * COSB - COS-B Observation Catalog

 * EINLOG - Log of all Einstein Observations

 * EXOLOG - Log of All EXOSAT Observations

 * GINGALOG - Ginga LAC Observation Log

 * GROLOG - Gamma Ray Observatory Viewing Plan
For some entries in OBSLOG, certain parameter fields are blank. This indicates that the original database did not contain that particular parameter. Each entry in OBSLOG has a parameter called `database_table` which indicates from which original database table the entry was copied. Users can browse that original database table should they wish to examine ALL of the parameter fields for a particular entry. More complete information is available in the original BROWSE databases from which the source information was collected.
