ROSATMASTER: ROSAT Master Catalog


Overview

The ROSATMASTER table was created for the purpose of providing a complete, accurate, and easily accessible tracking of ROSAT proposal information by ARGUS.

This database table has been deprecated. Please refer to and use ROSMASTER instead.


Description

The ROSATMASTER table contains observation data which have the following status: 'Accepted', 'Scheduled Long-Term', 'Scheduled Short-Term', 'Observed', 'Processed', and 'Archived'. This table forms the list of all stages of an observation. The information is updated on a weekly regular basis.

Parameters

pi_lname
  The last name of the principle investigator for the ROSAT Observation Request.
pi_fname
  The first name of the principle investigator for the ROSAT Observation Request.
pi_no
  The principle investigator number.
prnb
  The proposal number.
cycle
  The AO phase (cycle) number.
target_name
  The name of the target of the observation.
subject_category
  The subject category that the target belongs to.
time_awarded
  The total observation time.
ra
  Right ascension in equinox 2000 decimal degrees.
dec
  Declination in equinox 2000 decimal degrees.
priority
  The priority set for the target by the peer review.
tar_no
  The number of the target in the proposal.
ror
  Unique observation identification number of scheduled observation.
time
  Start date of observation.
status
  Proposal status. Possible values are: accepted, sched (long),
  sched (short), observed, processed, or archived.
scheduled_date
  Scheduled start date of observation. If target has already been observed,
  this will be the same as the observed_date.
observed_date
  Start date of observation. Null if it has not yet been observed.
processed_date
  Date observation data was processed.
archived_date
  Date observation data was archived.
process_level
  The revision level of processing.
