Note that accurate ROSAT orbit prediction many months ahead is not possible, thus individual slot times at the ends of the two timelines may be substantially revised in the short term time lines produced a week or so before the observations.
The ROSLTL database has been made from a file provided by the UKDC. It contains details of all scheduled pointed observations on a one entry per slot basis, where a 'slot' is an interval of constant celestial pointing with detector HTs switched on.
Ror The ROSAT observation request sequence number. Rday The ROSAT day number at the start of the slot (June 2, 1990 has RDAY = 1). Day The calendar date of the start of the slot in the form YYMMDD. Start The UT start time of the slot. End The UT end time of the slot. Instr The instrument at the focus of the XRT. Cont A continuation flag. Set to 1 when a ROR is complete, 0 otherwise. Country The originating country of this ROR. Zoom Wide Field Camera Zoom mode switched on? Solar_Ang The Solar aspect angle at the start of the slot. Earth_Ang The minimum earth angle at the start of the slot. Sun_Ang The mean angle between the sun and the spacecraft at the start of the slot. Elapsed The total number of seconds that will have been spent on this ROR by the end of this slot. Constraint The type of time constraint under which the observation was scheduled, if any; i.e., monitoring observation, phase dependant observation, coordinated observation, or contiguous observation. Aox Is the atomic oxygen constraint violated? Night Percentage of the slot that the spacecraft spends in the earth's shadow. Wfilt Wide Field Camera filter. RA Target Right Ascension. Dec Target Declination. Xoff X pointing offset. Yoff Y pointing offset. Xfilt XRT filter wheel position (Open, Boron or Closed). During reduced pointing mode (RORs 171nnn) the filter may be in the open position for some fraction of the observing slot even if the filter position is given as closed. Duration Number of seconds of observation in this slot. PI_Number PI Number. Target_Number Target Number PI PI name. Name Target Name.
