THE OBSERVATION OF THE KES 32 SUPERNOVA REMNANT

ABSTRACT

Kes 32 is the shell type radio SNR. We can see that this SNR has "jet", like plume, in radio map. We found the X-ray from Kes 32 by analyzing the asca data of PSR 1610-50, which is located near Kes 32. This is first detection in X-ray. Althouth only little part of the rim is detected in SIS ield of view, we can find the Si, S, Ar emission lines, which shows the very high temperature of the hot gas in SNR. Because of poor statistics, We could not restrict the physical parameters of hot gas well. Farthermore, the "jet" is out of field of view of both detector. We propose the observation of Kes 32 and its "jet" to reveal the origin of the "jet".
