ASCA OBSERVATION OF G18.95-1.1

ABSTRACT

We proposed the observation of G18.95-1.1 whose shape is center-filled type in radio, and shell type in X-ray. Though some SNRs shows different shapes between in radio and X-ray, this supernova remnant(SNR) is only one example of the shape(center-filled in radio and shell in X-ray). This target is first detected by the ROSAT satellite. The purpose of the observation are the origin of the shell and the search of the central object. To attain these purposes, we need to determine the temperature, the electron density, and the chemical composition. At the center part, we want to determine whether the radiation is thermal or non-thermal.
