STARBURST ACTIVITY IN SEYFERT 2 GALAXY.
ABSTRACT
Active galaxies are devided into starburst galaxies, AGN, LINER, and so on with an optical spectroscopy. There are a lot of intermediate type, e.g. the galaxy has both characteristics of AGN and starburst galaxy. However, the intermediate type have not beed studied so far, because it is difficult to distinguish both characteristics. The intermediate type is very important, since an AGN phenomenon would be associated with a starburst phenomenon in the galaxy. Using ASCA we can separete both activity. Therefore, we would like to investigate starburst activity in the AGN. Seyfert 2 galaxies is good sapmle for this study, because there is low energy cut-off.
