ASCA, RXTE AND OSSE OBSERVATIONS OF SEYFERT 1 GALAXY IC 4329A

ABSTRACT

We propose an Asca observation of the bright Seyfert 1 galaxy IC 4329A, to be conducted simultaneously with the RXTE, and CGRO OSSE, for which we have approved observation. This object is probably the brightest true Seyfert 1, and thus the best candidate to study the details of high energy processes in AGN. The first objective is to observe it for 20 ks simultaneously with RXTE and OSSE, to get a simultaneous spectrum; the second is to observe it for an additional 60 ks to measure in detail the profile of the already known to be complex Fe K line.
