OBSERVATION OF NEWLY DISCOVERED 152SEC PULSAR, AX J1820.5-1434

ABSTRACT

We propose the observation of 152sec pulsar, AX J1820.5-1434 discovered with ASCA Galactic Plane survey. On the spectrum analysis of the survey data, we can find an absorption structure around 3.5 keV during a low intensity phase. But, due to less statistics using only survey data, this structure has a low significance and could not determine models. Because the source is X-ray pulsar, most possible interpretation is cyclotron absorption line. Therefore, we observe it and confirm cyclotron abosorption line with the lowest energy.
