LONG-TERM OBSERVATIONS OF RADIO QUIET HIGH-Z QSO FOR CXB AND AGN EVOLUTION

ABSTRACT

So far our group have promoted the observations of the radio loud high z QSO (RLQs). Thus we have found very exciting results in which the RLQs showed an evolutional effect of intrinsic absorption gas. Further results are published in Ap.J. (Cappi, Matsuoka et al 1997). Now we extend our interest to radio quiet high z QSO (RQQs). Why do the bright RQQs exist without radio emission? What is the relation between type 2 QSO and RQQs? We need a lot of the radio quiet high z (z=2-3) QSO without bright radio loud for a component of CXB. So far we have only several RQQs, but some episode of iron line feature, and no strong absorption. We have to promote a long-term systematic observation of RQQs. The present project is a key for evolution of AGN as well as CXB problem.
