Overview

This document covers the following:

• an overview of the mission, the instruments on board and the Astro-D GOF,
• the Astro-D data and data products,
• the end-to-end flow of data--from the initial conversion to FITS format, through the processes of selection and correction, to scientific analysis, and, finally, the automatic production of databases,
• the support given to Guest Observers--management of the US observing program, help in the submission of proposals, provision of handbooks, data distribution, and
• Archive creation.
