- PULSAR runs in an Open Windows environment.
- PULSAR references the following files
- 1.
- $TIMING_DIR/psrtime.dat - Princeton pulsar parameter file.
- 2.
- $TIMING_DIR/psrbin.dat - Princeton binary pulsar parameter file.
- 3.
- $TIMING_DIR/leap.secs - Table of UTC leap seconds.
- 4.
- $TIMING_DIR/ephem.gro - JPL Ephemeris file in IEEE format.
- 5.
- $MISC_DIR/timeline - File of valid GRO observation periods.
- 6.
- $ALT_PSRTIME - Alternate catalog of pulsars in Princeton format.
- If a Summary Database (SMDB) file will be processed, it must be in
$SMDB_DIR.
where $TIMING_DIR, $MISC_DIR, $SELECT_DIR, $SMDB_DIR, and
$ALT_PSRTIME are environmental variables with the names of appropriate
directories or files.
