Background Spectrum File

This file is optional in pulsar analysis. There is no default name for this file. The format is less complicated and rigid than the other input files. Any line of the file which begins with # is considered to be a comment. Its contents will be printed but not used in the calculation. All other lines contain data. Each data line must contain two numbers, the background rate and its uncertainty for one of the measured energy bands. The dimensions of these two numbers are counts cm^-2sec^-1. There must be one data line for each energy band defined in cones.default.
