Gamma Ray Quasars


Like other quasars, gamma-ray quasars look like normal stars in photographic images. Although these two quasars (Quasar 3C273 and Quasar 3C279) appear similar in visible light, the Compton Observatory gamma-ray image of them reveals a remarkable difference.
