Criteria: The experiment should be repeated every day (or every day when there is enough visibility) for 20 days. This will allow us to track the quiescent emission variability of RX J1301.9+2747 on time scales (1.9 days) where modulations are expected from theoretical models and are tentatively observed in archival XMM-Newton data. NICER is the only X-ray instrument able to perform this experiment.
