All guest investigators are asked to quantitatively discuss the
feasibility of their proposed ROSAT observations. This section provides
guidelines as to how to proceed for PSPC observations.
Section 10.1 
discusses sensitivity (minimum detectable
flux), § 10.2 discusses the calculation of expected count
rates for sources with known spectral parameter in the total and hard energy
band, and 10.3§ discusses the spectral
capabilities of the PSPC using pulse heights and filters. Information
on off-axis performance is found in § 10.5 , and advice
on time-variability studies are provided in § 10.6 .
Finally § 10.7 gives a comparison
of the ROSAT PSPC to the Einstein IPC.
