ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

Are there any problems with using a blocking factor to look at the data?

(2/28/94)

One must remember that the PROS tasks refer to the raw pixel reference in the QPOE file, so one must use fixsaoreg to scale up saved-region descriptors by the blocking factor under which they were written.

There is a problem with handling world coordinates due to the differing definitions of the first pixel (left edge, center, right edge). Currently, the only task in PROS that handles the coordinates completely correctly is xexamine in XPLOT.
