ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

What is the uncertainty on the flux measurements?

(1/7/92)

The fluxes are uncertain by about 4 percent rms, largely due to the uncorrected effect of the PSPC wires (The effect of the wires, which introduces modulations at up to 50 percent or so, is largely taken out by the wobble.). Data dropouts eventually will be accurately tabulated, and included in the flux calculations.
