D.1 System Specification

 

The specification requires that in every pointed observation with the HRI detector, 68% of the X-ray photons of an on-axis point source must arrive within a circle with radius 10'' around the expected source position. (As a comparison: the 68% radius of the XRT point spread function with the HRI in the focal plane is 5'').
