# TESS Program G08022 Title: Searching For Long Period Transiting Sub-Stellar Objects From Gaia Non-Single-Star Solutions PI: Nielsen, Louise - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat Munchen Type: MINI Summary: Increasing the number of benchmarked brown dwarfs and exoplanets is a vital step to calibrate and improve our models of the formation, evolution, and current atmospheres of sub-stellar objects. We propose to obtain 2 min cadence TESS data of stars potentially harbouring long-period companions identified with GAIA astrometry, to check for transits pertaining to the long-period candidate and search for additional planets. Only two stars from the GAIA non-single-star (NSS) catalog are compatible with an edge-on orbit and observable with TESS in cycle 8. The system WT 766 is of particular interest, as it has a BD in a 1.6 year orbit with a 89.9 deg inclination. Winterhalder+2024 find a 10% chance that the BD may be transiting. # Sector 099 targets observed (2 min: 1, 20 s: 0) 313869987,183.9816,-68.1091,13.08,G08022
