# TESS Program G08042 Title: Planetary Systems Around Thick-Disk Stars PI: Dai, Fei - University Of Hawaii (Manoa) Type: SMALL Summary: Thick disk-stars differ from their thin-disk counterparts in kinematics, age, metallicity, and alpha abundance, which may significantly impact the outcome of planet formation. Our program will validate and characterize sub-Neptune planets around thick-disk stars. Shorter lifetimes and limited supply solid material may inhibit planet formation around thick disk star. Using transit searches and follow-up observations, we will triple the number of confirmed thick-disk planets and test this claim (6-20). We will also constrain the bulk composition of six thick-disk rocky planets (again tripling existing sample 3-9) using follow-up radial velocity measurements to determine if the iron-poor-alpha-rich chemistry indeed gives rise to rocky planets with smaller iron core but larger silicate mantle. # Sector 097 targets observed (2 min: 3, 20 s: 1) 260004324,91.0934,-55.3106,10.14,G08042;G08042;G08140;20SECONDTARGET 179580045,80.624,-70.2543,10.46,G08042;G08137 167600516,102.0212,-65.6246,10.69,G08042;G08140 # Sector 098 targets observed (2 min: 4, 20 s: 1) 150033920,91.3072,-65.0567,11.69,G08042 260004324,91.0935,-55.3105,10.14,G08042;G08042;G08140;20SECONDTARGET 179580045,80.624,-70.2543,10.46,G08042;G08137 167600516,102.0212,-65.6246,10.69,G08042;G08140
