Summary: This proposal aims to systematically investigate cataclysmic variable (CV) evolution through period distributions across metallicity environments in the Galactic bulge and disk. We leverage TESS Cycle 8's unique continuous 54-day observation windows to precisely measure orbital periods for 155 pre-selected CV candidates, with particular focus on systems near the critical 2-3 hour "Period Gap" that constrains evolutionary models. By integrating TESS's continuous optical monitoring with deep near-infrared VVV survey data, we overcome traditional observational limitations in crowded, extincted bulge regions.
