# TESS Program G09117 Title: Calibrating Asteroseismic Scaling Relations With Totally Eclipsing Binaries From TESS And Gaia PI: Wrona, Marcin - Villanova University Type: SMALL Summary: Asteroseismic scaling relations allow the determination of stellar masses and radii from solar-like oscillations (SLOs), yet their accuracy remains debated due to poorly constrained correction factors. The most rigorous calibration requires benchmark stars with fundamental parameters independently derived from binary dynamics. Currently, only about a dozen such double-lined, totally eclipsing binaries (EBs) with detected SLOs are known. We propose high-cadence TESS observations of 44 totally eclipsing EBs identified through multi-stage filtering as likely SLO hosts. Combined with epoch radial velocities from the upcoming Gaia DR4, TESS photometry will yield precise dynamical masses and radii for direct comparison with asteroseismic estimates, significantly expanding the benchmark sample. # Sector 108 targets observed (2 min: 6, 20 s: 0) 407686084,96.7094,-23.2516,8.72,G09117 141019807,116.7898,-18.1033,12.27,G09117 259157383,113.5409,-13.0641,11.55,G09117 349318274,114.3764,-19.4104,11.9,G09117 412743856,111.2169,-21.9641,10.3,G09117 50648349,112.6139,-14.9132,10.59,G09117 # Sector 109 targets observed (2 min: 8, 20 s: 0) 407686084,96.7094,-23.2516,8.72,G09117 22641002,108.1426,-36.222,8.86,G09117 412743856,111.2169,-21.9641,10.3,G09117 63579455,105.515,-25.5347,12.27,G09117 11076396,122.2742,-21.8242,11.48,G09117 141019807,116.7898,-18.1033,12.27,G09117 349318274,114.3764,-19.4104,11.9,G09117 1563155,132.0298,-27.8015,10.44,G09117
