Abstract:

Catcorr updates the positions of sources in an EPIC source list in an OBSMLI file. It derives these by cross-matching the positions with up to three reference catalogues to find optical or infra-red counterparts and finding the small frame shifts or rotations which optimise the match. These are then applied to all the detected positions. It is designed as a replacement for eposcorr and evalcorr.
