Some of the components of the Chandra X-ray Observatory are the source of electrical energy (the 2 solar arrays), the camera (the high resolution camera, or HRC), the X-ray detector (on the same end as the camera), and the mirrors (the high resolution mirror assembly, or HRMA, on the opposite end).
