ASCA weekly
Dear ASCA users,
I am sending a third version of the short-term schedule for June 26 to July 6.
We have accepted the TOO request by Mike Corcoran to observe Eta Carina
for two times each 20 ksec (one at flare peak, others after flare decay) during
the next flare period. This is a last predicted flare event to coordinate X-ray
observations with the ground based optical observations and we have installed
first ASCA observation on July 3. Accordingly, the observation of Tol 0190
-383 is shifted back for half a day and NGC 4569 #2 was shifted forward to
next week.
The PI of the Eta Carina TOO observations is Mike Corcoran, CoIs are
Jean Swank, Rob Petre, and Kazunori Ishibashi, and Japanese CoIs are
Katsuji Koyama and Yoko Tsuboi.
